Be really carefull, cheap often means a web based third party with minimal or no insurance and the delivery companies are shocking when it comes to breaking things.

For Excess Baggage Shipping try Worldwide Baggage Delivery this company they are very good for parcel delivery as well. http://www.extra-baggage.com
              or email [email protected]
              Tel: 0203 318 0771
I recommend everyone to go and compare the price.

The only one to use, remember to register with them to get a 5% discount, they take PayPal as well at a 2% surcharge.

Why not just use your local Post Office. If it’s over 1.5m then Parcel Force will take over, all done by your PO. Cost will be around £12 if >1.5m.

It is now not possible to up the insurance on standard parcels, the maximum allowed ( if paying with PayPal) is £36, you used to be able to toggle the value but not now.

Parcel Force are just crap IMHO, I have not had a problem with Interparcel and I have sent over 200 rods and poles via them.
