TF_sklootwhat is the best £400 seat-box out there?
I currently use my trusty old Maver club pro seat-box for club match and pleasure sessions
Nearly all my attachments are Fox match which I dont really want replace and want to put on the new box.
Its a bit of a seat-box minefield out there…
Might even consider a good condition second hand box if the right one came along ~think

TF_DecaffMate,I have had just about every box going & have recently sold a Rive & purchased the Fox MSB1 Euro.
It’s comfortable, stable with loads of storage.I’m well happy with it & really do think i’m gonna stick with this one.
If they had done a little bit more work with the side drawers & the winder trays i would have said it was perfect!
Have a look at one before you commit to anything else.

AnonymousFox Euro MSB 1 with sliding footplate. I looked at just about every box for under £600. The fox won hands down. Been using it for about 6 months now and cannot find fault with it. A total pleasure to use!

TF_RhinoAnother vote for Fox MSB Euro – I too sold my Rive d36 and got the fox – much easier to transport and very solid. These are 25mm round legs that telescope.
Another option I considered is the Platforms boxes – saw a nice one in Vale Royal in Northwitch that could be had for £300 including footplate – they are square legged so I guess your existing accessories should fit.

TF_sklootThanks for putting the Fox MSB1 Euro in the running will have to get down the shop and look at one now ~clap
Was looking at Daiwa 300 and Maver MX range but worry about Maver seat box build quality!! As for Preston well nearly evryone has something bad to say about them ~naughty
A modular, changable box with sliding footplate, comfortable and strong build cos I have a substantial build myself is my main requirements.
And I reckon my Fox add-ons have the star hole thing so should fit a round leg…

whittyI’m going to put my Milo in the for sale section tomorrow, I’ll be looking for around £200, it’s a brilliant box, but I’ve moved into a first floor flat & I just dont have the room to store it. I need to give it a clean & take a couple of pics & it should be for sale tomorrow.

TF_sklootOkay guys just to wrap this thread up…
Thanks for the great advice much appreciated.
Fox MSB Euro was the best box, tried one, loved it. But I decided was out of my price range this time around…
Ended up with a new Daiwa 200 at a good price again fancied a Daiwa 300 over more, but price put me off that.
Going from square legs (old box) to 25mm round legs(new box)for existing attatchments proved problematic but do-able.
Thanks again and being honest I know I will regret not getting the Fox but will still enjoy my new-noos!
