I know that braid is ideal for boat fishing is it allright to load it onto a multiplyer for beach casting?

I know a few who do for short range with a level wind, myself I think it’s too much of a risk Braid can easily bed in, and with the best will in the world you’re not going to be able to lay the braid onto the reel anything other than cotton reel style…..so will make it easy for threads to bed in and become trapped. Would also be hell trying to sort out a biards nest or any type of over-run.

You’d be best investing in a decent fixed spool reel and putting it on there. Either a 5000 sized, or one of the mini big pit reels if you’re thinking of fishing short to medium range, or a big pit reel for fishing at long range.

From personal experience, braid works great with a conti rod and big pit reel, overhead thumping it gets good distance and it’s great for spotting the most delicate of bites. It’s not so good in rough seas though, or when there’s lots of weed, as braid doesn’t stretch…weed is very much hard work winding on braid and if it’s rough your tip will just move contantly.
