I have one of the 6 dip Milo pole roosts and they are excellent bits of kit

          They are extremely light

On the downside they are quite bulky to carry and quite expensive if you buy one brand new

I use the Mosella Apollo roost kit. Its a fantastic bit of kit that packs away small and is very light.

At the moment you can only put top 3’s in them but I know that Mosella are bringing out addon sections for the roost that will accomodate top 4’s too.

I am also able to use it for rods as well.

            Nice bit of kit.

I have the Preston Pro Roost but only use it when it’s really windy, I just use the Space Shuttle, it’s ideal.

How much? for a bit of plastic pipeing a rivet gun and a few bits and pieces you could easily make one for a tenner!

Took the words right out of my mouth, Fred! Phil has one in at Apollo Byfleet and I went to buy it until I heard the price.

In fact I was in a local plumbing place later the same day and I reckon one could be made fairly easily from of the shelf bits they had on display.

                        P.S.
Want to speak to you about your float range

I made mine from a piece of rod tube and a preston 8 way roost. attaches to a tripod (with long extending bank sticks) with the pro logic connectors (all things I had in the garage from years of fishing and not being used).

It fits the rod sleeve section of my touranament holdall. I’ve made three others for friends no complaints.

Never had a section blow off in the wind either.

I’m a plumber so making one is a easy I just can’t think how to fix it on to my box
With the mosella roost how dose it fix together without twisting

Never had a section blow off in the wind either.
