For the last week Elinor has been fishing much better. Plenty of fish feeding on the surface. The whole of the brookside bank has been producing along with the dam and back of the east arm.
Floating line is all you need with the majority of fish being caught in the top 2 foot.
Size 16 buzzers have caught some of the fussy fish but lures are also starting to take good bags.

The fishing has been very difficult at Elinor during the last 10 days with the lowest rod average of the season so far of just over 2.

Fish are cruising near the surface but not feeding properly just now. The cooler weather this week will hopefully convince them to feed up before winter.

Dry fly or washing line remain the best methods
