TF_squattGood shout Andy. Crisp action I would love using it on silvers up to 3AAA wagglers.

TF_SLABI will check them out.I have never been happy with any waggler rod since i broke my Shimano super ultega.Currently using Preston sentient super float.I find it a little to stiff.

TF_SLABI fish commercials i am after one of those magic rods that cope with silvers and will handle carp also. What i wont is a rod that bends a little more than the one i have now.

TF_nick_the_2ndI do a lot of waggler fishing on mixed venue and use a Preston Carbonactive 11ft 2-4g if it is not too deep or the chuck is not too long, this rod is perfect for small skimmers/roach to carp.
If I want something longer I would use a 13ft Maver Reactorlite No 1. This is again another good rod for fish of all sizes.

TF_Dave PelletDrennan Matchpro Ultralight
SuperbAlternatively have a look at the ingenious Series 7 Silverfish 13ft waggler
breaks down into 2 sections with a 1ft detachable butt section, so it stores in a 6ft ready rod holdall
Guess what’s on my xmas list…

I’ve had carp to 18lb at Larfod on my Reactorlite No1 Waggler rod. I would recommend this one too!

TF_TickleThe New Shimano Speedmaster Light float rods have been designed for the purpose you require they come in 11ft and 12ft. Well worth a look.

Andy GParticipantIf you don’t mind paying the money you will have to go a lobg way to find better rods than the tourney pros.

I’ve got a TP 13′ a nice light rod but I would swap it tomorrow for a Titan 2000.

TF_Steve LockettAnother vote for Maver Reactorlite No1 for a 13’er. Tournament if money is no object.
Value for money, the Mach 3 range.
Or, blast from the past: Normark Microlite original or 2000, superb for silvers and will handle carp although a bit undergunned. Can’t comment on others, although I have used some rods which are beasts. For me, they are not suitable and it sounds like Slab is thinking on the same lines.

TF_SLABHad a play with a few of the rods mentioned today. They did not have all the rods mentioned.I liked the denanan ultra light and the Mach 3. 90% Sure i am going for the 13ft Garbolino G series light waggler. Thanks for all suggestions.A ll the rods suggested were what i was looking for and would have done the job.

TF_Steve LockettA little bird tells me that Garbo are bringing out some new rods soon. Going to be real quality apparently. Possibly on a par with Tournys? ~shh
