Thinking of getting one but a bit worried about how the net meets the top ring, has anyone got one, had any problems.

Just bought a middy keepnet 25 quid and very well made and I looked at a few different Ones, the net in question your describing drawbag looks a tidy piece of kit and with the big massive logos all over them they will be a tackle tarts dream. But I decided on the Middy Net because quite simply they are well made.

What, you saying I’m a tackle tart, lol, okay guilty as charged.

Got a pair for Christmas on the grounds that a mate of mine has had them since they came out and he reckons they are the best nets he’s ever had, says that they are still like new, not sure though if that says more about his angling ability than the nets!
Look the bizz though, and yes it’s been said I’m a bit of a tackle tart!
The bottom few rings on the side of the net that lies on lake/river bed have heavy duty rubber protectors on and then the rest of the rings have a sort of plastic coating on them which should prolong life, all my previous keepnets have worn out in these areas so should be good.
The angle tilt is also excellent in comparison to any other nets I’ve owned, very strong and heavy duty looking.
The net also tapers so it becomes narrower towards the bottom allowing the bottom rings to be pulled through the rest of the net, making weighing in that little bit quicker and easier.
All in all I would say they are the dogs danglies however the proof is in the pudding, if the poxy weather round my way happens to improve enough anytime soon to make it worth going I’ll give them a try.

Ive been using one for around 9 months now, and think they are brilliant nets. i used to use a sensas challenge net and in my opinion these are the only nets better. But at a much greater price.
