TF_StewartHi Berna,
I have been using the Milo Superba XT for about a year now. I really like the pole I find it well balanced and light. The spare package is really good. I use mine for carp fishing and silvers. It is sold as a 16m pole in the UK and is great to use at that length. At 13m you will find it superb!Hope you enjoy the site, don’t worry about your English, it’s very good.

TF_p2hl_p2hlcheck it with a mesuring tape, to make sure it actually is 13 meters… it think you need the dollybut to reach 13 meters… and that changes things a lot especilly the weight…

BernaParticipantthanks for the responses, the rod is shorter than 13 meters and you have to add the mini, even so it seems very good rod.
but there are some people who say they are split on many stages around the cup kit.
Stewart, you broke the cane? How about a cane milo stronger than 1091. thank you very much. -

BernaParticipantMerida, is a very difficult place, especially the strategy, regards.

TF_StewartThe pole measures slightly less than 13m with the full No.1 section. With the No.1 section cut back or removed you will need the mini extension. I personally find that using mini makes no diffrence to the pole, and I do not notice any diffrence in the weight or balance.
I have broken a couple of sections but each time it has been my fault. I have never broken a section playing fish.
Not sure I understand ‘split on many stages around the cup kit’
I know there was a problem with using the cupping kit on the Superba, the cupping kit was too strong for the 4th section. Now the pole has been updated to the XT it works fine.
Sorry not up to speed on other Milo poles.
Not sure what Merida is? Other than a place in Spain and Mexico! -

antonioParticipantHi, Stewart. I´m a friend of Berna and we will be fishing in the same team this year. What he means is that once in a match he saw an angler break the same section three times while cupping some bait in, so I think that you are both talking about the same problem with the cupping kit.
Mérida is, indeed, a city in Spain. It´s the venue where 2010 World Champs were held. Berna mentions the place because we often fish matches in this venue.
Thanks for your help -
