  Pellet for me. There is so much you can do with pellets and they work all year around. You can make ground bait or paste out of pellets with ease. You can use them on the cone, in a feeder or with the method feeder. Hair rigged banded or directly hooked. I doubt there is a more angler friendly hook bait except maybe bread. Bread would be my second choice.
