        Opinions please on which is the best margin pole up to 9 metres.??

          I use an original shimano beastmaster,have found it hard to beat,tri-cast margin is a very close 2nd though!

            shimano beastmaster superb.had the drennen but changed to the beastmaster got the extension as well.

              This comes out in march. It might not be the best but daiwa seem to be slipping it in the beast master teritory. Might be worth the wait.

                  I have had both the above,and the trabbuco lucifer(the old one ) takes some beating,heavier than both the above but even with 12 lb maxima damn near unbreakable imho

                        i had the yank n bank and thought it was superb.
                        a lot of people on here have had bad experiences with them but i had carp to well over 20lb on mine with no worries at all.
                        however it all changed when i had a measure up with a beastmaster 850b at climax tackle,
                        the supposed 10.6 metre yank and bank was shorter than the 8.5 metre beastmaster ~think
                        i hate being lied too so it had to go.
                        up to now the beastmaster is a match for the yank and bank and with the ext is way longer too.
