        As promised these very popular days have returned again this year , but with a difference .

        Alan has yet again stepped forward to help raise funds for the breast cancer charity VIA THE BIG BASH , in fact he jumped at the chance , a true gent, http://www.thebigbash.co.uk

        Ive been approached several times asking if we can change the way we do these to make them more accessible to all , not just those who can afford to pay hundreds of pounds , so here is what we have come up with .

        This year we are going to sell “chances” each chance costs £5 , it runs very similar to a raffle , you pay £5 per ticket to have your name entered in to the draw which Alan will draw him self , you can have as many goes (chances) as you wish , the more you enter the bigger the chance of winning .

        we will run this through till Sunday February 20Th , where i will meet up with Alan and get him to draw a name from the bucket ,

        The lucky winner will then win a days fishing tuition or 2 people with the great man himself , at a date & venue suitable to both parties

        You can pay by cheque , cash, postal order or paypal on this , please make cheques & postal orders payable to NLAG CHARITABLE TRUST (breast cancer)

                                            a fiver wont even buy you 2 pints these days , and if it did they would last more than a hour at the most,

                                                                        I would like to purchace 10 tickets for the draw, and say a big thankyou to Alen and everyone total fishing who as supported this worth while cause.

                                                                        My wife got diagnosed with breast cancer in August and is going through cemo and radio therapy at the moment. But to see the numbers men and women who are suffering from the same thing during our hospital visits,realy has made me realise how much help and fund raising that hospitals require to carry on offering the excellent care and service which my wife Elaine as recieved.

                                                                        I am also going to be arranging some matches during the summer, to raise further funds for the Weston Park Cancer Hospital in Sheffield. So anyone with a lake around the sheffield area where free pegging could be arranged, or tackle shops who could supplie raffle prizes please contact me on 07786638182.

                                                                            But before i tell you massive massive thanks must go to GOTONE for coming up with this format , i have to be honest and say when he approached me re this idea i was a bit sceptical that it would work , how wrong can you be , it has surpassed anything we could have ever dreamed of , so arise sir GOTONE and thank you .

                                                                            I’m sure you will agree doing these” A DAY WITH” days like this make it more accessible to all not just a select few who are able to bid hundreds of pounds ,

                                                                            thank you so much for your support guys it has been amazing ,

                                                                            total chances entered in to the draw is 265 bringing the total raised to a staggering £1,325 for a day with the great Alan Scotthorne MBE and 5 times world champion ,

                                                                            Unfortunately Alan wasn’t able to make the draw this morning due to other commitments,as I’m sure you know he is a very busy man , he asked Mandy Mrs Big Bash to do the honours for him, which she did in front of two witness`s
