        Today at 12:15pm i watched hughes fishfight last night i could believe what i saw half of all fish caught in the north sea are thrown back dead i couldn’t believe the European governments attitude towards the problem its outrages everything we stand for specially after watching the program before on the humans around the world and there polite to stay a live

        fishermen throwing back cod just because they were fishing for bass[thats the law you are licensed only for that species on the license it happened to be bass] beautiful fish thrown back DEAD and not just one or two how long does it take for a cod to grow to double figures

          Sums up policians perfectly. The Euro guys seem to have less idea than the UK politicians who know themselves next to nothing.
          Bet they can file expenses though!!
          Seriously, its a scandal and why does it take programmes like this to bring it to our attention?
          It also begs the question how much cheaper fish could be when skippers are routinely throwing half their catch back dead?
          The Euro guy who had his head up his backside wound me up with the comment “you willl never stop discard”. We would all still be living in caves with that attitude.
          Where are the creative thinkers? Probably all banking and planing to retire in their 30s with their ill gotten gains!!

              so far ive watched this weeks and to be honest its all made me look a things totally differntly.. like the killing of samll bait fish to be made up into pellets to feed scottish salmon.. and all the suppose ethical farm reared scottish salmon that are trapped in small nets with around 87000 fish in one area… with all that fu++++g loch to go at why??????????? signed up monday by that way if all on here could sign up that would be good.. sorry for the outburst.. rant over
