        have stotz rendered shot useless they are easier to put on, move better along the line, are uniform in size and are neat and tidy- when would shot be used over stotz???????

          I think some people use shot because they find that the stotz move about too much and don’t stay in position.

            You cant get stoz over an 8, and proper styles/half styles are the way to go on thinner line

              i once read a article by tommy pickering and i think he said he used stotz when fishing for roach because he thought tht shot looked like hemp ……can see what hes saying

                I think that stotz are now crap
                When they first came out they was a nice dark colour but now a silver colour, not to bad if all you are fishing for is perch.
                Forced to start useing shot again…

                  I agree MarcRodger they are too shiny a bit like non toxic shot, they need to be like the old styls dark grey. Last thing you want is fish pecking at your stoz giving false bites. lol.
