It’s the cold weather – my guess is you store your gear in a garage/shed?
It happens to all hollow elastics. Warm it up, stretch it and see how it goes, it may return or you may have to shorten it a bit.
Really need to bring top kits indoors when it is so cold if you are not using solids.

I had to cut 4″ of mine last week its best to take it of the connector end.

I thought things went shorter in the cold. ~think

I wish mine would go 8″ longer in the cold, I’d be running up and down the street starkers.Or should I say the wife would make me. ~clap ~clap

all i can say is that hydro is not what it once was,it now lasts as long as all the other hollow elastics not alot longer like it used to. if you looked after it you could get a couple of seasons out of it but now its only a couple of months.

Lee has just called in and told me he is a few inches shorter in the cold weather and that you should be grateful….
