TF_GavinTrouble is, if most people want to read of methods or venues from the past they pick up one of the old magazines they have!
I haven’t got this months yet as I pick it up from my newsagent (got fed up of chasing subscription copy’s that never arrived or came after it was in the shops) but if I can read it in the same time as cutnut did it’ll be the last one I pick up for a while.

TF_folk in hailJust re-read last year’s edition, or the year before, in fact any, they are all the same, only the adverts change.

TF_wightanglergood editorial, have’nt had time to read the articles yet- except sadly more insidious garbage from former sun and Murdoch ‘journalist’ Piecha.
Which is fortunate, as if i’d read Piecha first- then probably would have cancelled my subscription. -

TF_wightangleractually a pretty good issue,
2 different perspectives on whiteacres silvers festival, james dent, vintage interviews-max winters(remember him), bob nudd -quite illuminating & very funny anecodotes about legend Kevin Ashurst.
And Giles is back ,and on form, thought provoking -even if you disagree with his views – And some mixed bag of different river articles- which given that the weather has been so bad when this month’s must have been produced-so was amazing they got anything fresh out at all.
Worth a look. -

RivestSaid to myself last month that I wouldn’t buy it again, missus brought it for me when I was ill – ten minutes read at the most, same old adverts offering the same offers.
Who ever looks after the sales and advertising side, speak to the shops, change artwork, make it look different, change makes money – I worked in advertising for a long time, imagine however many time you walk past a notice board at work and the only time you look is when there is something different.
But more than anything, use different ideas, most things which are in match fishing end up in pole fishing a week later
Use local anglers in the mag, I do not want to read about how the pro’s are getting on week after week.
Is 3.50 worth ten minutes read?
