TF_Gary the gudgeonI have never subscribed to Sky and have never bought the Sun or Times. Murdoch by illegal means smashed the print unions at Wapping while the police stood by and watched. The muppets that pay to view have ruin sport in this country and the sport associations have feathered their nests while the muppets pay for it.The national cricket team won a thrilling series in Australia only the muppets could watch it,thanks a lot.

TF_wightanglerwatch the recent news about phone tapping, coulson and now sky sports and you get the impression that Murdoch has selectively damage limited negative publicity by firing a few- rather like the original 2 subsequent hacks to assist city old boy Jeremy ‘Hunt’ to back the News Corp bid.
I have no faith that the original compiled evidence that both the MET with it’s alleged C$ ‘dispatches’ indirect links and the CPS wil be freely released into the newly announced ‘investigation’into this and the far more consequential suggestions of Murdoch having a hand over govt. not only tory cronies but the smear personal articles and threats to the parliamentary sub-com that wanted Rebekka Wade to appear before them.
That Mutrdoch has so much sway only sheds light on the bit-player status our elected govt. really has when compared to the influence of our traditional moneyed vested interest and the arrogant city. -

TF_herbienothing wrong with the product feeder always assuming you earn enough to pay for it or you still have a job. turns out 97% of all bankers have one and 97% of the unemployed dont~think ~think Hmmm food for thought there~shh 2 tier society perhaps, a return to the good old 1890s half the population fat, the other half starving.

TF_Gary the gudgeonPremier league chief executive Richard Scudamore has recieved a £3,000,000 bonus for his work in negotiating a record breaking set of t.v. contracts and still the MUPPETS subscribe to pay T.V.
ANYONE STILL THINK THEY ARE ACTING IN OUR BEST INTEREST.? -

TF_JohnHGary, I did subscribe for years as really there was little option for HD tv. In November I binned the lot and bought a freeview hd box for £200. I saved £60 a month and have never looked back. I was watching 2 sometimes 3 footy matches on a Sunday, what a waste of time!!
I do not miss Sky sports at all and find Cricket coverage, all be it highlights, on ITV to be very good. I even re discovered Richie Benauld who has refused to sell his sole to Murdoch and will only comentate on free to air channels.
I think some need a wake up call, there is life beyond Sky and you quite rightly say the money being pumped in has done nothing to improve standards. Look no further that the English footy team to get my drift. All my humble opinion of course. -

TF_steve rEveryone subscribes to pay tv, it’s called a television licence ! At least with Sky there’s a multitude of choice rather than the BBC dictating what you get for your licence money.

TF_herbiequite right steve ~think only problem is ~think i can unsubscribe sky , i have to subscribe to BBC. but i am lucky enough to have a job and can pay for sky, shame about those who can,t. whole generations of backstreet kids never having the joy of watching live test cricket. its no wonder half our team is south african.
