coxp001ParticipantContacted the AT and asked them to activate the County Champs page on their web site
They did this today and now you can see all the points scored so far
Check the following link

TF_Waveney OneVellly intellesting !!
I see that very few people have registered as yet but there are loads and loads of point scorers. As I said last year some time, I would hate to be the poor so and so with the job of updating it every week! Good luck to them.
At least we can check up on our points now and give match organisers an even harder time!!

TF_carpmagicParticipantThose tables are behind the paper itself, as the points in this weeks paper are ahead of those tables.

TF_carpmagicParticipantTheres two sets of results, one is old and one is current. If you click on the counties at bottom its behind a week or so. If you just scroll down and go through all the counties off the initial page then it seems to be up to date.

TF_Mikey .J.In my personal opinion theyve cocked it up running it from the winter. Everyone i know isnt interested this year because of this fact. Should have started from once the weather warmed up a little when everyone is out on the bank every weekend.

coxp001ParticipantIt gives the hardy ones who fish whatever the weather a bit of a head start. And deservedly so in my opinion

Spot on mate!
Maybe they should change it for these fair weather anglers to May to August, then they’d be moaning that theres nothing to fish for.
If they can’t be arsed to fish when it’s cold then well….tough luck.

TF_bremesParticipantOne thing im not sure of~think
Say you won or framed and the results are put through to AT,but the organiser only phoned/mailed in the top5,would you still get the points if you finished in the top5?.

TF_dave brittainQuestion.
If I live in one county and score points in another will the points count and if they do but haven’t been added who do I contact to sort it out?

Yes, but when you ring in to the AT co-ordinators they ask for the top 8 so it would be a very inexperienced match organiser that didn’t have 8 ready. If only 5 catch so long as 10 or more fished then those 5 get the points.

Again the AT match co-ordinator asks the match organiser for teams and if necessary counties. I fish matches on the borders of Suffolk/Norfolk and make sure the match organiser which county I am from.
It is up too the points scorers to let the organiser know, not the organiser to screw the info out of the points scorers.
You also need to register with the Angling Times. Name, team (if you have one) and County. That way, all the spelling mistakes of weird names – Tim D take note! are sorted out.
