each to their own but you will certainly get many votes for a fox msb. i dont have one so cant vouch myself but i know someone who has and he raves about it.

Fox boxes are fine if you’re parking behind your peg. Trolley is top heavy and unstable so if you have a walk, or if the ground is lumpy you will struggle.

Beginning to feel old fashioned again, but fishing where you can park behind your peg and set up the kitchen sink (along with electric mixer) is sounding more and more decadent to me

Having had all types of boxes Rive, Garbo Super G Carbon,Daiwa 100 and 200, preston x6s and many others I’ve now settled on a Space Station Compact and can honestly say its superb, and probably the best I’ve had. Well worth a look mate. Couple it with a Space Shuttle and your in business.

best box I ever owned in terms of quality and stability was the orginal Milo tardis but it was really heavy, stll going strong though as I gave it my dad – not tried the newer ones out.

I’ve just replaced my rive with a fox msb as the rive draws are shite and fall out of their runners. The concept of the rive is quality and for what they are, theyre really lightweight but the draws got on my nerves – the fox is similar in concept but seems to be better built – bit heavier though

Matchbox! Very light but also very sturdy.

I’ll second the older Milo’s for build quality, I had a Pro System M700 and it was brilliant apart from weighing a tonne!

My Rive RX is alot lighter than my old Milo although I can remember thinking my Milo was a better box.

Buy a 2nd hand Rive or a New D25 Club Blackline.

I have used 3 in the last 40 years – a 6 leg wicker basket, a plastic RIVE Box and an original Daiwa Boss box that’s still going strong after 15 years!
All 3 are in my garage if anyone weants to make me an offer LOL.

Have a good look at Brilo, I got mine custom made for me for around £310. Personally I don’t like front drawers so had the box made with three side draws. One draw I keep all my carp rigs in, half of the second draw I keep all my paste rigs in and the other half all my silver rigs in. The third draw I keep all my other terminal tackle such as shot, scissors, disgorgers, bait bands and hook tyers. The box is very strong yet light and it’s made in this country!!

Bash didn’t say rive boxes were shite all round – just the draws compared to the fox MSB – I have to agree cos I loved my Rive but the draws falling out of runners were a nightmare on mine – I also checked with a mate and he has same prob – Rive could be made better if the runners were made deeper – the fox draws are really good – same principal as rive but better quality. I even bought additonal draw units quite recently for the Rive and the same has happened to them. In other areas, the rive is better than the fox, i.e the leg tighteners, and its weight ratio.
