has it had a bad effect on your fishing? I have an idea it won’t be so bad with the rain actually being warmer than the lake water but I could be a mile out anyone been out today?

Think your spot on with this as my lads fished a match today on a lake which was still iced up on Wed’.The rain itself felt warm in contrast to a sleety showers which drops the water temp quicker than a mild overnight frost. The strong wind and temps of 14 yesterday/9 overnight may have also helped mix the layers up a bit.
Todays low light levels/west winds /low pressures also helped speed up the venues recovery, fishing far better than expected so soon with ide and tench also feeding and responding to loose feed.

We had a LOT of rain here in the NorthWest yesterday. Brookside and Partridge both fished better than they have done for some time, with 80 and 70lb winning, good back up weights as well.
