Tunnel Barn Farm Results To February 7th, 2011

RESULTS FOR OPEN CONTESTS WEEK ENDING 6th FEBRUARY 2011

All pools are now free of ice and have started to feed well, with perch, f1 carp, roach and bream on all pegs. Maggot or pellet has been the best bait fished at 8-12m. A bit of slop groundbait has been helpful.

        Top Pool
Both of the roadsides pegs have been fishing well with roach, perch and bream on maggot waggler to the island. The pegs in the bowl have also been producing well.

        Bottom Pool
The odd big carp have been caught over the weekend on a feeder to the islands. Lots of f1 carp, bream, roach and perch to maggot.

        House Pool
Maggot fished at 10-12m has been good for silverfish and f1 carp. Straight lead red maggot fort he odd common carp.

        Extension pool
10m line has been the best on this pool, with carp, roach, bream, perch and the odd barbel on all pegs. Maggot and pellet have been the best baits.

        New Pool
The match weights have improved this week with pellet catching lots of fish. Mirror and common carp on open ended feeder to the islands and a few chub have been showing on the roadside pegs to red maggot.

        Canal Pool
Red maggot for f1 & f2 carp, roach, perch, bream, barbel, and tench at 8-12m against the island.

        Club Pool
10m down the track for bream and roach. Pellet for f1 carp at 4m and maggot for barbel, perch and tench.

        Jenny’s Pool
Maggot produced while the pool was iced up early in the week, but pellet has fished well in the later part of the week and weekend with cap, bream, tench and roach being caught.
