preston hooks

  just wondering if anyone can help me out started using preston comp hooks for my non commercial fishing and have for some time been using pr34’s for my winter fishing on commercials i’ve compared the pr34’s to the pr333 and the pr444(slightly heavier gauge wire) and they seem identical are they the same hook with a diffrent name?????

  preston have re numbered some of their hooks and re branded others the 412 is identical to the old pr 23 except its now bronze !! also put them in pretty new packets !!

  Years ago, the hooks suffered, that problem was sorted a long while ago and the hooks are superb. Don’t go blunt, even when you use them for 5 years like you do. lol
  
  The PR333 is the PR34 from years ago mate.
