Our shop is thinking about booking its annual 2 dayer on here in July, anyone know what its like? is it all mirrors/commons or any F1’s? what sort of weights can be expected and the main question – is it peggy? will be a 20-30 peg match.
We normally go to Larford, I have no idea why they are thinking of changing!
        Thanks

Meadowlands is a good venue. In July if you are on the big lake it will be a lot of pellet waggler fishing plus margins. There are two lakes Lambsdown and Warren. Lambsdown is the big lake. Its mainly Carp although there are also loads of skimmers. No F1’s. Warren is a smaller lake and method feeder dominates along with margins in the summer. You wouldnt want 20 on it though. Lamsdown would take 30 with ease.

I would prefer Barston, some of the other lads might moan. Will give Tom a poke.
