National Bank Championships 2011

Greys are pleased to announce their sponsorship of the 2011 National Bank Championships.

This is the opportunity for Stillwater fly fishers to qualify for the 2012 England bank Team.

Heats will be held at venues throughout the country for both individual and team competitions. Westlow Mere fishery in Cheshire will host both National Finals with the Individual Final taking place on the 8th October and the Team Final on the 9th October.

The top three anglers from each of the sixteen individual heats will qualify through to the Greys National Final. From there the top six finishers will have their details forwarded to Team England Fly Fishing for ratification on eligibility to form the 2012 England Bank Team along with seventh and eighth place that will make up the reserves.

The Team Championships will see teams of 3 anglers fishing together to secure their place in the prestigious Greys National Bank Team Final. Grey’s will sponsor some fantastic prizes along with Team medals and ultimately the coveted Greys Championship Team Winners Trophy.
