              Hi Lloyd

What are you using at the moment matey. I had a waggle with a Z9 the other day, its a great pole with a good spares package, but not many coming up second hand at the moment for that reason.

But have a look at them it might be worth holding on a while, they are going for about £1,700 new. Don,t know how much a second hand one would be, don’t think you would be far off with a grand.

              Regards Dave

                    1. Garbolino Super G10 16m pole for sale
My pole if just over two years old but has been used seriously for 18 months. As with all poles that have been used there are a few marks and scratches on it, nothing excessive and I would regard it, as in good condition.
There is a profesional repair on the 11 m section where I caught it on some barbed wire causing it to mark. I had a small wrap put on it to be safe, not sure why I bothered really it didnt need it.

                    Price is £1000

The pole is a s follows:

                    16m Pole (including top kit)
                    2 x top 4
                    2 x top 3
                    2 x power kit
                    2 x short no 4
                    1 x cupping kit
                    1 half butt
I had to throw the original pole bag away so I will include a brand new garbolino 8 tube Super G hardcase rod holdall (never used cost me £60) to store it in.
If you are interested my mobile no is 07595588550
                    Cheers Bob Poole

I had a Maver 57 pole and it was a nice pole but very tippy, the bounce was a nightmare. It was very brittle too, I broke it 3 times in 2 weeks at Whiteacres. Needless to say it was on its way as soon as I got home and replaced with a G10.

he used my gis12 at lindholme on bonsai
16 meters to the island and he loved it,!
someones offered him one for £800 and the muppet still thinks the elite 57’s a better buy?????????????????
                            it begs belief!

Have you tried hitting him on the head really hard with a piece of 3×2 ????
The Gis12 is miles better than the Maver in every way.

If he gets a Maver better hope he doesnt have any problems with major sections as spares availability can be an issue, based on my personal experience…..

I’d second the statement on the Gis 12 but if he does a lot of lump work I’d go for the G20…(I have seen Gis 12’s go on demanding pegs e.g. Bolingey)
