        Just thinking of picking one up.

        Other than the obvious differences in price, materials and looks, are there any other differences between the spectron airty and tourny rods? Or are they all designed for the same thing?

        Looking to get one for a mix of commy fishing, and bream fishing on drains and smaller rivers…my 12ft medium speccy is a bit too long for the latter.

          All pretty much the same action, personally, I prefer the Tournament of the 3.

            Cheers Nathan,

            Will have to get out and have a waggle with the tourny and airity as my local only has the spectron. Was leaning towards the airity, like the look of the handle and the rings, unless I read wrong somewhere, are meant to be anti tangle!?!

              I had the Spectron and thought it was poorly made, had a cast with the Airity and didn’t like the feel of it but probably just what I’m used to adn would get used to it! Yep, ant-tangle eyes, not sure how well they work!?

                I’d heard good things of the speccy, is the lightest blank of the three too. It’s those anti tangle eyes that appeal as much as anything, I get fed up of dealing with wrap overs lol.
