Been offered one in (apparently) good secondhand condition. Any good? I know the spares are expensive but my old MAP Parabolix STI is starting to groan a bit. I’ve tried a tourney pro but it weighed a ton compared to the MAP. Is the Aspire heavey too? Any thoughts are welcome (except Staff Bull – if you answer this post you are going swimming next time I see you!!)

They are quite light if I remember rightly, not the stiffest at 16m but still a very nice pole to use. Spares prices are horrendous, No7 – £750 inc delivery. Steve Ringer has used one for ages so can’t be too bad.
