TF_MICK THE BOOKIEGood evening all you fellow posters.I hope you have all done your bollox at Cheltenham, cause i have won an arm and a leg.
Had 5 bets this year..As follows.1)Carols Legacy…£250 each way @ 20/1…Finished 2nd.
2)Big Buck`s……£800 win @ 5/4….Finished 1st.
3)Bobs worth…….£1400 win @ 7/2….Finished 1st.
4)Kauto Star……£1500 win @ 7/1…Finished 3rd.
5)Sir Des Champs..£200 win @ 11/2…Finished 1st.I hope you followed my tips this year as you did on previous years..lol.
I have had such a good week i will be returning to Egypt for another bout of the Sun and some more of the best holiday fun i have ever endured. The new lady was very impressed with my staying power when there two weeks ago,and has stated that i might consider taking two women this time so she can get some free time to catch a few rays.
I will of course be on my new Yaught this time, and will keep in touch via the old lap top with all my fishing chums on this site. However if you dont stop taking the p*** about my beloved Arsenal whilst i am away,i will put out a contract on your personage.
This of course will be done with much deliberance to the many Chelsea,Liverpool and bloody Man.U fans who constantly rub me down with sandpaper and do me from behind without Vaseline on this site.
Be warned……MICKY IS BACK….. ~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap
NICE TO BE HOME LADS…Fishing on Sunday…Cant wait. -

TF_caster robParticipantBest Gold Cup since the 5.
Sam Waley-Cohen, hero, sportsman, corinthian.
Neither AP nor Ruby could have ridden better than he did today.
Best thing, unlike mindless football tribalism, was that all present applauded all of the competitors, won or lost.
Real sport.

TF_MICK THE BOOKIEDodge…..Yea obviously heard the bad rumours of the health risks before going. However touch wood returned unscathed this time.We actually went to El Gouna which is the other side of the Red sea to Sharm near the Suez entrance. It was perfect, very clean and ultra modern. The hotel was luxurios and set in idyllic surroundings.Apparantley built by 3 billionaire brothers to cater for the tourist trade. The boats in the Marinas were massive, and had come from all over the World. Some even made the Chelsea owners look small.
We were warned about the water and to keep your hands clean at all times, but an Egyptian restaraunt owner told me that most bugs are past on by shaking hands and by touching their terribly dirty paper money. We were very careful, and arrived home with stable tummies thankfully. -

TF_KatarinoExceptional Mick, well done. Only a real tilt at Bobs Worth saved the week from disaster for me, far too many 2nds and 3rds.
Always a great week though, so here’s a couple of quiz few questions for you and the the TF punting club.
Ruby really did not excel on So Young on Wednesday, but from which other top Irish Jockey did he have to be held apart from on stage at a preview evening last week? They LOATHE each other!
Name the horse who ran in the Stayers Hurdle that rose a staggering 67lbs in the Handicap between winning at Lingfield in March 09 and winning at Haydock in Feb 11.
According to “Wazz” the conversation at the start at Lingfield went thus….
Circling at start there was usual sort out about who would make running, one jockey kept quiet. Eventually someone asked, “what about you Al?”
Reply was a casual, “oh, I’ll track you lot round, move up 3 out and join in at the last….”
‘X’ on a fancied horse was dismissive, “Oh yeah? Got a stone in hand have you?”
“No” says ‘A’,”I’ve got 3 stone in hand…..” and he had! 😉 -

TF_Katarinoand another one….
Can owner Mr. M and trainer Mr. O’N explain the vast improvement shown on this seasons form by the horse GMOOH in the County Hurdle?
Leave a few quid behind there did you?….. ~shh ~shh ~shh

TF_MICK THE BOOKIERoy…..Spot on as usual.Yes was noticed the money down, and massive improvement shown.Tounge tied down?…..Yea okay Jonjo.
But as you say the plan did not take into account the awesome ride from Ruby to spoil huge gamble on the horse. How often do you see Tony McCoy beaten when in front?….Never ever.Mind you i must admit i truly believe it was a dead heat…Did you see the photo?..~think ~think ~think ~think ~think ~think -

TF_caster robParticipant@MTB:
“How often do you see Tony McCoy beaten when in front?”Never.
Only when he’s behind someone else.
Pay attention, you’ll get the hang of it. LOL.
Twice Over drawn wide (again).
Fancy that.
