The fish are starting to come up in the water in mid day sessions with maggot or pellet. The fish are now coming back to the islands, shallow water and into the margins.
Top Pool
The bowl area has been good for carp against the island to straight lead dead maggot. All pegs have been producing silverfish and carp on pellet or red maggot.Bottom Pool
Two 20lb common carp have been caught this week on corn. A lot of 8-12lb carp have been caught on pellet.House Pool
The margins have been the best for tench and bream at 6-8m with pellet for f1 carp and bream. Maggot for other silverfish.Extension pool
Fishing a 10m has been the best line this week with maggot up/down in the water for carp, bream, roach and perch. Corn in the margins has also been working well.New Pool
Pellet fished at 8-10m and against the island for f1 carp, roach, bream and tench.Canal Pool
Red maggot up/down in the water at 8m for bream, roach, tench, perch and f1 & f2 carp. There have been some tench and carp in the margins to corn.Club Pool
Pellet at 10-14m or on the bottom for carp and bream. Red maggot for silverfish.Jenny’s Pool
Long pole with pellet for f1 & f2 carp, tench, bream and roach. On warmer days the fish are starting to come into the margins.Date: Monday 7th March 2011

2nd: Long pole to the island with maggot on the deck at 5ft down the shelf and up in the water on the ledge at 2.5ft in the second half of the match.
