Tight Lines this week…
Friday 25th March 7:00pm Sky Sports 4
Repeated: Sat. 2:00am Sky Sports 4
5:00am Sky Sports 3
8:00am Sky Sports 4
Keith’s guest will be former decathlete Dean Macey, now a passionate and accomplished specimen angler. With conditions improving, Deano will be sharing his own tips and tactics that should help you get better results as the Spring approaches.
If you’ve got a question for Dean or Keith please it in as soon as possible via an e-mail to [email protected] and they’ll try to give you an answer on the show.
We get out on the bank with Dean at one of his local day ticket waters, the A12 Cuton Lakes in Essex. With the temperature now warming up fish should start to feed in earnest and Dean will be showing you how he targets bream, one of his Springtime favourites.
There will also be a report on ‘The Big One’ fishing tackle and angling show help recently in Surrey. Reporter Andy Ford joined the thousands of visitors to see how the trade has been affected by the economic difficulties we’re all experiencing.
In Fishery Focus Keith will also take his regular look at the sport available to all anglers around the UK. He’ll have helpful advice on the best methods and baits to use at some typical venues and how the conditions will affect your enjoyment this weekend.
On Tight Lines next week the focus will be on fly fishing, particularly the sport you can enjoy on some of the country’s big reservoirs. Keith will be joined by Anglian Waters’ fishery manager Nathan Clayton so he’s sure to have plenty of great tips for you.
Please keep the questions, and your photos for the ‘Young Angler of the Month’ competition, coming in via e-mail to [email protected].
And a reminder that if you do miss the broadcasts on Sky Sports, the whole programme will be available as a podcast after the show on Friday evening via our website – http://www.skysports.com/tightlines
