Thinking of getting some of these for when on Porth during thr Whiteacres festivals.

I have never owned a pair so I have no knowledge – can anyone make any recommendations…

        cheers, CK

Ive had a pair of Snowbee 4mm boot foot chestys for several years now.Good strong comfortable boot ,good protection on the knees, you can get a bit too warm in them although they dont slip when rolled to the waist.

I’ve had a couple of pairs of the original Leeda neoprene Chest waders for fishing over here in Ireland.

I found a hole in one leg just above the boot a few weeks ago so i’m trying to find my wader repair kit. If I can’t get it fixed i’d have no problem buying another set of Leeda Neoprene Waders again.

Although lightweight Breathable waders seem to be catching on because you don’t sweat up during the summer.

              Rhino,
The daiwa ones are top quality. I had the felt soled ones for 7 years, I split them last year and couldn’t reapair so I’ve replaced with Leeda ones which are knowhere near as good (could only get Leeda ones quickly at the time). The actual boot on the Daiwa I found more comfortable and the fit of the chest area was much better, not as tight. The straps on the daiwas are neoprene as well and therefore a bit more comfy.

One thing the Leedas have over the Daiwa is the padded knee section, makes kneeling on the ground a bit more comfy.

Just looking at the Snowbee Granite Neoprene Chest waders, and they look good! Just a bit pricy though…

Not the cheapest David, but I have had regular trouble free use out of mine, must be coming up to nine years old.

The snowbees sound good – I looked at the Diawa at lunch time and not too comfy for me.

any ideas who stocks them in the North of England – Ted Carters are out of stock and only Fosters showing on the Google search which is too far for me..
