Mark winning this match was down to some very good casting tight to the island and under the willow tree at peg 39, fishing a pellet feeder with pellet hook bait he landed 20 carp – 6lb weighing in a level 58lb. 2nd placed John Darby drew the bore hole peg 31 but because of the strong wind he couldn’t fish the usual long pole so opted to fish the margin with the pole and corn landing carp – 8lb in his catch of 50lb 4oz.

Andy Lakey drew peg 17 for the 2nd week in a row fishing the pole and pellet out at 13m and late in the match down the margin he landed carp from 8oz – 8lb in his winning weight of 75lb 10oz. 2nd placed Pete Ellis fished the pole and pellet short at 6m on peg 39 after a slow start he landed 15 carp – 7lb.
