        RESULTS FOR OPEN CONTESTS WEEK ENDING 3rd APRIL 2011

        Lots of fish feeding up and down in the water, with pleasure and match anglers catching 100lb+ nearly every day. Pellet, red maggot, corn and bread have been the best baits fished at 6-10m.

        Top Pool
        Corn/Pellet have been the best baits with f1 carp, common carp, bream and roach on all pegs. Dead maggot to the island has also been catching common and mirror carp.

        Bottom Pool
        Corn in the margins for big common, ghost and mirror carp. Pellet or maggot for all carp and silverfish.

        House Pool
        Fish at 6m up in the water with pellet or bread for big weights of carp. Maggot for silverfish.

        Extension pool
        Lots of fish in the margins to pellet, corn and red maggot at 8m up in the water for all carp and silverfish.

        New Pool
        The roadside pegs and low pegs have been producing 100lb+ weights with pellet or corn being the best baits, fished up/down in the water on 9m line.

        Canal Pool
        Red maggot at 4-14m for f1 & f2 carp, common carp, bream, golden rudd, rudd, roach and perch. Corn in the margins for barbel.

        Club Pool
        Pellet and bread have been the best baits, fished at 6m and against the island for all carp and silverfish. Some bream, tench and barbel on corn in the margins.

        Jenny’s Pool
        The fish have been on the far bank and down the middle with pellet being the best bait for f1 & f2 carp, bream, tench and roach.

        1st: Pellet @ 10m & down the edges through slop for all f1’s to 2lb.
        2nd: Bread & corn all over the pool hard on the bottom but mainly caught at the edges, for f1 carp, bream & roach.
        3rd: Bread down the track up/down in the water @ 7m for f1 carp, bream & roach.
