club site

  in recent weeks i and happydangler have left questions to the admistrators. as yet no answers. am i to take it that apart from rick and myself and possibly larry teapot, that we are the only members left who bother to visit the site. tfc has been good to me and although i dont expect to have a match/get together every week i do expect to at least visit old friends once a year away from the glebe.if the people in charge cant be bothered then could they at least indicate so i can delete the site from my computor, as i seem to still through habit wander in , only to be disapointed. i thank you

  Herbs my old mate, I look in every day, its dead.
  
  The only time there were any posts it was from people who wanted to fish the Glebe this year, they got their names put down and have never posted since.
  
  Its a crying shame as I used to spend a lot of time on the site, now it is deserted. Just as sad is you not doing the Glebe this year.

  Guys things change. The club site is now maybe what it should always have been, a route into entering events as a team and making money for good causes, not trying to be a rival to a free forum which (let’s face it) it could never be anyway.
  
  I actually regret taking advice from those show suggested it be set up the way it was. I think it just ended up being devisive when all I’m interested in is what’s good for match fishing. I was naive in hindsight.
  
  Club members enter the Nationals, the Supercup, the Glebe etc – maybe we should all just be comfortable with that.

  Sorry Gareth but I for one am not really comfortable with that.
  
  When Duane and I joined as members it was a lively chatty site with loads of banter and plenty of P taking.
  
  There were the weeks of build up to the Glebe, knock up matches where you had the chance to meet up and put faces to names.
  
  Don’t get me wrong, I am TF through and through, but it seems now that people join just to fish the Glebe and have no input into the site at all.
  
  I for one miss how it used to be but if this is how the Club Site will be from now on, so be it.
  
  I will remain a member, fish the Glebe each year, and should it get back to anything like it used to be then great, if not I will have to live with it.
