        Cornerstone Opern, Grand Union Canal, Small Heath…Apr 9th 2011

        The weather was brilliant for the time of year.

        The canal was gin clear which made it harder than most would of liked.

        The first open at Small Heath since last summer seen some good weights and I hope the 26 anglers that turned out went home happy they certainly weren’t put of by the amount of boats (there was one!!).

        Most fish were caught on squatt …some hemp fish were also caught… Norm had a tench 3lb on a worm…
