TF_MICK THE BOOKIE24 fished Horseshoe and Pittance….Weather hot and high pressure.
1st……Dick Dunbar…Pittance 5…77lb 04oz.
2nd……Don Garnish…Pittance 7…61lb 04oz.
3rd……Brian Wallin..H/shoe…7…59lb 12oz.Section 1…Pittance 12.A.Harrington.55lb 02oz.
Section 2…Pittance 16.J.Clifford…59lb 00oz.
Section 1…H/shoe… 6.M.T.B……..30LB 12oz.
Section 2…H/shoe…14.G.Clifford…52lb 12oz.I can only tell you about Horseshoe lads cause thats where i was plotted up.The fish were up in the water from the start, but try as we could,we couldnt get them to feed at will. This might have been due to the high pressure, but they just werent having it.
We who had fish in our pegs were picking up the odd F1 and Carp, but some of the lads were biteless.Terry Harrison(Dorking)who is an excellent angler was on peg 12 in the corner, and quickly realised the position, set his stall out for Silvers, and weighed in 31lbs of small Roach. This was sheer class angling, and if Terry had not tried for Carp in the last hour he might have come 2nd in his section.
Brian Wallin next to me had 5 Carp for 59lb to win the lake fishing the pole at 13mtrs up in the water at 3inch depth. His biggest Carp was 18lb.Garry Clifford(peg 14) was biteless untill the last hour, when he caught his 6 fish for 52lb down the edge.He would have no doubt won the match with another 30 mins.
I myself had 5 F1s and 2 Carp on the wag throughout the day,and was again lucky to nick my section by default….TAKE CARE ALL….WATCH FOR THE RESULT OF NEXT WEEKS MATCH….HAVE A NICE DAY NOW. -

TF_proper tidal boyHerbie i wasnt fishing just out for a stroll with another molesey boy, one of the chuckle bros visiting the old hunting ground to see the old faces again on a league match which ive fished for the last few years but now choose not to fish anymore mainly because of the lack of fish in comparison to what it was . hardly surprising with all the hints being posted on here you will understand ~think ~think

I can’t work out the hints Brian – PM me a clue.
If it’s about some Horseshoe fish being moved, that’s because it’s going back to what it used to be, a speicmen lake, not enough room for all the bivvie boys on Main and Christmas tree so they are getting Horsshoe back. -

TF_proper tidal boyAs far as im concerned teabag they can have the lot cause there aint enough anyway lol, but theres allways the skimmers in a bucket to look forward too, when there bream ????PS its still the same routine wait till carp oclock like yesterday 3.30and they show down the edge shame about the rest of the match imoa just look at the results from sunday until 3.30 they were all struggling on the two lakes i watched for a few hours, shame the bivvy boys dont come out in the winter when the match boys are the only ones are on site, but hey ho THATS LIFE ~naughty ~naughty

TF_MICK THE BOOKIEBrian…..I found my Catty mate….It was in the keepnet.I bet you and “chuckle bros one” were in awe at my class in the use of the “Magic Wand”.Mind you in saying that i do tend to get alot of anglers standing behind me these days.My reputation is spreading around the area. Many of them ask to show them “the old stand behind the box routine”….Fame?…..I just like to keep a low profile,as you well know….MASSIVE LOL.
By the way…Herbie…I hear you put a good weight on the scales the other week.I do hope its true mate.Perhaps you could talk us all through your match? Many congrats my old mucker. ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap -

TF_teabagBrian, all it was is that I got an offer to fish a specimen lake over winter, I had forgotten how hard that style of fishing can be during winters. lol. Back to the easy fishing at Willinghurst again now, even had a few this afternoon from old lake on the fly, it’s only April and guess what the carp are doing at Willinghurst – Spawning.
