What’s best way to send long pole sections in the post?

        Cheers

        Mike

Get some carpet tubes from a carpet shop. They are generally free

Don’t use rod tubes as in my experience these are still likely to get squashed

            Hi Mike,

I agree with using cardboard carpet tubing. I’ve had a few rods sent via a number of couriers this way and not had any problems.

Just put a bit of packing in the tube to stop the section rattling around, but don’t pack it too much.

You might even be able to get a freebie cardboard tube from a friendly local takle shop.

I look forward to hearing from you ~clap

            Thanks.

            Ron.

Yes Interparcel is the best I have found if Royal Mail won’t take it, some Post Offices will, although the official limit is 1.5M!
