Its a long pool with a central island thats has 3 or 4 channels cut through it. There are 32 pegs and they all have part of the island to fish to at distances from 11-20m. Pole is the main tactic but a small method chucked tight over on the wide pegs can score. Depth is from 12″ in both margins down to 5 foot max down the track.
Stocking includes Ide, chub, skimmers and carp from stockies to 8-10lb and when its fishing you will need 80lb to win.
Baits are pellet corn in general but you can catch on caster up in the water when its warm. Margins, especially empty pallets, will produce if you have room.
The boss pegs are the 2 furthest pegs (18 & 19 I think) as they have loads of room. There is a predominant wind (your about 1 mile from the Irish sea) from the car park end right down the pool and it can be quite awkward at times to have the rigs set up.
If I come across anything new I will let you know.
