I am moving to the South East region of UK and thought id go through a large back catalogue of fishing mags (Match fishing, pole fishing etc) to get some info on venues. I was surprised to find out of all the mags dating back to 2008 that there were hardly any features on South East venues and loads on North West/Mids or festival venues such as Whiteacres. It is the first time I have noticed this as I used to live in the Mids myself. Do you think there is a bias towards using midlands venues too often? Why dont the mags use a fair number of venues from around the UK in each edition? Surely with the huge volume of waters around it should be fairly easily or am I just plain wrong?

i must admit mate i thought there was a bit of a bias at one point, but i thought it was more towards the midlands and south with hardly any northern fisheries gettin a look in !!!
speekin to some locals,,, i know im not the only one who has noticed since both joe carass and tom scholey joined the ranks of the top 2 (pole and match fishing) the northern venue’s, and local anglers seem to be getting a fair share of the lime light !!!!
its always nice to read an artical on a venue and method you can relate to,,
i aint complaining,, its made a good read 10x better in my opinion
          long may it continue !
STILL LIKE TO SEE MORE FROM THE LADIES THOUGH !!!!
nowt finer than seeing a bird with her hands wrapped round a long stiff pole !!!

“OOOOOH DA WOT ME LIKKLE BABBY”!!!!!
