        am a big fan of doubled laccys and was wonerding what rating you would give to a doubled 6 and 8 against hydro, hollow and solids,cheers for info

          Double 6 is between White and grey. Double 8 is between grey and black.

          You can’t really compare tbh as I’ve got double 8 and black hydro in some of my topkits and each has it own use!

                  dbl 8 doesn’t slow ’em down at 3 mtrs at white acres, but black hydro does 🙂

                      when you say heavier you mean more powerfull or heavier making the pole unbalanced?

                      my problem with hydro sometimes is it stretches too much so a double solid can be better when you need to stop something

                          You would be better using vespe 25 solid or D16 it is lighter in weight for black hydro

                            yes you can,a doubled up black hydro is about the same as 10 m/m nylon rope.

                              If you double up elastic do you have to use some sort of aparatus like a winder ?

                                No, feed it through your top kit single from the base end.

                                Thread it through your stonflo and feed back to base end of top kit tie the two ends together and attach to your winder, hope that makes sense.
