Can anyone help? I’m looking for a 12ft waggler rod with a traditional action, also fairly soft. I’ve used spectron m2, too tippy/powerfull for me and also 12ft maver reactorlite which i find slightly slow on pick up. I’m casting light floats (2swan) on light line (3 pound maxima) for fairly big fish, 5-15 pound. thanks.

Same here, I am currently using an original 12 Normark Titan which is perfect for the job but the rod is now very old and could do with being replaced.

I have been told that the new Fox FX 12fr rod is very nice but have not seen one yet

Tournament Pro 12′, not cheap but excellent.

i’ve got an 11ft beastmaster which has a lovely action,as do the preston mini’s, but i’m just not a massive fan of short rods for waggler fishing.

12ft Tourney pro for me all the way.

                  Pricey but a fantastic rod!

If you are looking for a 12ft rod for the PW rather than silvers look at the Shakespeare Mach 3 two piece. It’s light and crisp with a very fine tip but has lots of power further down to cope with big fish.

If you want a more traditional 12ft Match Rod look at the Shakespeare Superteam 12/16ft LXL.

The handle will put some off but the pencil slim blank and action more than make up for it. It’s a three piece and it is very crisp and light and will surprise many as it’s not too disimmilar to the 12t Daiwa TP

It does have a fantistic action but I wouldn’t use it for bagging work and big fish week in week out as the 12ft PW is a better rod for the task.
