  i’ve got a browning Z9 ,8 top kits, half exs, short 4 ,cupping kit, bag, joint saved from new used a max 14 times so in great condition .now summers here & now i only fish commercials need a strong carp pole must be very useable at 16m & be in great condition so what have u got, cash either way wolverhampton area …

  According to all the info on the z9 its supposed to be strong. Personally I’ve got a trilogy and its thee strongest top pole .no doubt .that and an aristocrat. Everything else feels fragile in comparison.
  Why do you feel the z9 is not strong enough.?

  its just that its so bloody light & stiff & the fish are gettin silly before it was rare to get a double figure fish now its every match + i want to cut down on tackle & stop using a margin pole …

  You need..a tricast mate.never felt so safe with a fish on.I had a t pro previous but trilogy inspires confidence.

  you have had and sold every top pole going over the last five year you should know which is the best by now lol

  hi guys thanks for the replies ,do u suffer the same problem ur happy catching 2 to 4lb carp when the float goes under you strike all hell breaks loose & ur elastic stretches to the middle of the lake i just don’t have the confidence to pull back hard & end up following the fish all over the place i get them in but it takes too long where i see others strike do not give a inch strip down to top kit heave & its in the net
