  As a lot know ive been getting these made for a few years now. The latest ones have the lid so it can be slid open from either end & has the spacer board to put between two slices

  Apologies for being such a beginner but could anyone else explain the use of the box. Eg, does it have compartments for the liquidised breadcrumb?

  No Paul it is a flat plastic/perspex box approx 6″ square, 15mm deep so will take two slices of bread with the crusts cut off. There is a sheet of perspex which sits inside the box to separate the two slices and keep the bottom one fresh while using the top one. The lid on the top is a sliding one rather than hinged.
  To answer your question, no the punch crumb will not go in there, they are made for hook baits (slices) 🙂
