Amble Open (January 15th)
Start the New Year with a bang by heading to the North East on January 15th to enjoy the challenges of this roving shore comp in Northumberland. With a chance of cod alongside flattie sport, this is a big open event for all keen anglers. Organised by the Amble Sea AC with 450 to 900 entrants expected, the cash prizes could reach the £7,000 mark and the event has all the excitement of a major open competition.
Anglers travel from all over Britain to enjoy the potential rewards of this established competition in its 35th year and now with major sponsorship from Greys. It also boasts a family image and the whole family is catered for as all juniors get a Greys goodie bag and the ladies section is also popular.
