Unsettled weather has kept rod numbers down but those who did venture out have been enjoying great top of the water sport with dries taking plenty along with washing line and diawl bachs.
Geoff Makin and Matt Tuck fished from a boat on Sunday and caught 35 between them, mostly on small olive klinkhammers.
Despite the heavy rain the water is still very clear and well oxygenated for the time of year which is keeping the fish feeding for long periods.
Bank anglers have lots of rising fish to target especially when the damsels are hatching. Buzzers and sedges are abundant in the evening.
