TF_inky fingerI’ve started to fall apart and yet i keep buying new kit that needs carrying over nice paths or semi rough grass sometimes on a slope. I have just brought a 4 wheeled shuttle as it seemed brilliant. Anybody had a problem other than the odd wheel going. Any tips on loading would be a great help, can i put a hardcase rod bag on it safely ? i don’t want to end up with a broken pole etc. I fish once a week or so. A barrow is impossible for me. thanks in advance.
Anybody whose keen on light line waggler fishing on small waters/canals should have a look at the increased range of drennan ultra lites. 11/12 footers. Dogs danglers. -

TF_mathewdreyCurrently this technology is used in small flashlights you see advertised on television that you shake and they light, but you never need batteries.

Quite simple really my box goes on first at the front end where the adjustable clamps are. Buckets/ bait coller bags clothing etc in the carrying bag under the handles, Carryall in between, with pole rollers etc slotted between the box and carryall or carryall and handles. Rods across the top resting on box and just onto handles securely fastened with bungees over the tops and hooked on trolley (on the wheel nuts). Hope this helps 🙂

TF_AnthonywatersParticipantI use a 2 wheel Preston shuttle and I cant fault it, I pack it with tackle, big milo box, carryall 2 nets & 2 rod bags and Ive given it some right abuse , everytime I go fishing it does a mile round trip with all that kit on, the trolley itself lives outside under my caravan, i keep all the nuts etc blathered in WD40, the only signs of wear are the wheel arms are spraining a bit and i only mean a bit and the bag is worn, its a damn good trolley, ive had a few trollies and wheel kits and they dont measure upto the Preston, next One I get will be the 4 wheel version, im interested to hear anyones comments who are experiencing difficulties with the 4 wheeled versions ?

TF_davedollyive had the four wheel for just over a year.like everyone else i carry far too mutch stuff to my peg ( just in case)milo box, pole rollers, nets ,carryall, bait bags, etc etc and it takes it all easily.Dont need to pick it up just push it along,i wouldnt be without it now.i dont take it on rivers if there are more than one fence or gates to get over as it is too heavy to lift when fully loaded. Its also better when the banks are reasonably flat .There is a wheel extension which can be bought on e-bay which makes the front wheels spread further apart to help with stability which i reckon i’m gonna get to make it even easier to push on rougher ground.

I usually use rechargeable batteries in flashlights but now I want to use some solar flashlights those don’t need any batteries.
