  Looking into an elite carp, how do you rate it for ireland? Also are these kits bushed as well as drilled? Cheers Matt

  The elite carp with match top4s or 5s is perfect for Ireland. Its balance is excellent and with match kits the pole is 13m without the dolly butt. In all fairness its heavy at 14.5m but for fishing in the wind here balance is more important.
  I used one to come second at this European Police Champs four weeks ago in the wind on Lough Muckno and guess what I won, another one. 🙂 🙂 🙂
  
  Its comparable ot the Elite 97 carp which is a €3000 european model.
  
  Im not sure that the power kits are bushed, i dont think so to be honest. I think a maver no3 fits them.

  Well that’s just damn fortunate well done.
  I’ve been considering my options a I will be relocating to northern Ireland in the next couple I yrs and wanna invest in th right tool. Am looking at an elite 88 and elite carp package but think I may sce my money as I rarely fish 16m in England and know majority of fishing is 13 m max in Ireland.
  Do you leave the no 1 in the match kits mate and what sort I laggy you using.
  I’m sure I’ll be sending you some questions on fishing talk Ireland when I do love as will be looking for some matches to fish,,,
  If I do jus go for an elite I will prob take a few if these are still for sale,

  we keep the no1 sections in and cut them all back to same length as cup kit.
  
  The elite carp is perfect for fishing here in the wind. 13m is adequate for 90% as we all use platforms here.
  
  You wuill enjoy the “man fishing” over here as opposed to the “mc donalds drive tru” commercial fisheries.
