I used a 995 for 3 years. I was reluctant to change from garbolino its a very good pole having got loads of top kits plus a 796 for backup and half butts. 3 years ago took the plunge and went for an original black airity. And don’t regret it at all! I was well chuffed when I sussed out the half butt 7- 8 section and flat butt 9 section fitted the daiwa very well. 16m sections on Garbolino also fits the daiwa. 🙂

Get the Garbo M1 and your 995 topkits will fit.

If your G995 is still in good condition I wouldn’t bother changing the M1 is stiffer the daiwa’s are nice too but unless your fishing 16m+ every match you won’t be much better off but will be a fair bit lighter of cash.
Any way its a personal choice but unless the cash is burning a hole in your pocket I wouldn’t rush, wait and see what comes out later this year. 🙂

I’m selling my Garbolino G-Max 1000 for in good condition for £1000 I had the 995 before and the difference is very noticeable, loads stiffer, all your tops will fit it
