Given the levels of the Thames over the last few months I haven’t stuck my head on much but for the Caster Rob and the racing nuts on here:

Based on what Katenko has done this year Wyck Hill is absolutely thrown in for both the Racing Plus Chase at Kempton next week and even more so the Grand National. I’ve taken the 25-1 and if you want it I would get in before the Kempton Race because I suspect you’ll be looking at the National favourite afterwards.

          Evening Roy, trust you’re well.

Trent’s been a write-off for float fishing almost all season.

Managed three decent sessions in total.

I’ve only fished 3 matches on Thames all season. 2 wins and a 3rd, when it was right Wallingford has been fantastic, I’ve looked back at last 3 seasons we’ve been fishing it, Fished 13, Won 7 Placed 4 Nowhere 3. Best was 18-2 on the stick this year, double figures in most, just praying it gets back into realms of fishablility before March 15th.

Have a look at Wyck Hill though. Katenko bolted up at Cheltenham a couple of weeks ago, WH looks to have been laid out and will meet on 13lb better for beating him an easy 4L and the races are working out well. “Now is the time to bet like men”…………….

Good luck for tomorrow with WH.
Not much value at 5/2, especially as a couple (Roberto G and Opening Batsman) should improve on the better ground and appeal as E/W bets.
I wouldn’t have thought the ground and sharp track would suit Wyck Hill but I’d certainly be interested for Aintree.

I thought Roberto Gandolfo ran a respectable National trial, Wyck Hill was off his feet, as I half-expected, resulting in jumping errors – soft ground for him.

A fair number of horses have struggled in the recent bottomless ground, improving their handicap rating.
Onesuch is Andy Turnell’s Michael Flips, who looks worth an E/W wager over improved ground at Newbury tomorrow.
