2 x full 11/ 12 / 13 ‘ systems for sale

These rods were the last word in quality feeder systems, very light in hand yet with hidden steely strength, sadly no longer available though they cost over £400 each or around £795 for the full system several years ago so imagine the costs now with the demand for carbon and 20% vat!

I bought one full system from new and another a few years ago via eBay.

I will describe them separately:

system 1 – I would describe the condition overall as “Good” – all the blanks are perfect with little signs of wear on the joints and only an odd mark on the varnish. some of the whippings are looking a little fatigued on the middle and carrier sections; and one the 11′ butt; the 12′ butt is in excellent condition and the 13′ is like new. You can tell which has being used! I can supply with tips as follows: 1xno.6; 1x no.5; 2x no.4; 1x no.3 – all perfect; 1x no.2 (damaged repaired) but perfectly fishable.

System two – As above but some bleaching to the whippings on the carrier system; the middle was the same so I had it re-whipped which looks ok but not craftsman level varnishing. The butts are in same condition as system one. I can supply same tips as system one except one the No.5 has gone AWOL.

For most situations the no.3 and 4 tips work the best with these rods IMO. Fox ones are available via eBay as replacements and some people adapt glass Garbolino ones to fit for finesse work.

I have the original bags for these rods but not the tubes. I also have a repaired middle section which I will throw into the deal for the first completed transaction – there is a spigot in the middle but rod still works ok.

I’m looking for £550 for system one and £400 for system two. Will let both go for £900.

Prefer collection but will courier for £30.
