The weather has kept angler numbers well down over the last two weeks but plenty of fish over 4lb are being caught including a best of season 11lb 14oz which was safely returned.
There has been no further flooding and water clarity is still improving with visibility as much as 2 foot in some areas.
Most anglers are concentrating on the lodge end of the lake where at least the cold NE wind is behind them. With minimal fly life hatching lures fished slowly are taking most fish but it surely can’t be long before the buzzer fishing starts.
There are still a few places left in the Elinor heat of the Airflo World Bank Masters on Sunday April 7th.
